| We depend on the Child Sponsorships to cover the educational needs of children in Northwest Guatemala. In our SPONSORSHIP WAITING LIST PAGE you will be able to meet every single child that is in that List. All of them have been waiting for more than 6 months to be sponsored. In that page you will see his/her head shot along with other information. If you click on the link "view additional information about this child" you will be able to know more about that specific child, like where he/she lives, works, favorite things to do and a full body picture. You also have the options: "Payment Information" in which you will see how much you would pay for sponsoring a child, and "I want to sponsor this child" in which you will be directed to our Sponsorship Form ( in this form you will find our different ways of payments and others) to start the process of sponsorship. This program started twelve years ago in a very informal way with 15 sponsored children. Every year the number of
children in our program has increased because of the great need that exists. At the moment we have 178 children
attending school through our Sponsorship Program. All these students are receiving their school supplies, books, tuition,
and uniform along with basic health and dental care. This sponsorship program tries to be more than just a financial
support to the children. It is more like an attempt to give all needy boys and girls the right to an education and a
worthwhile life.
Through this program we try to create connections between people of different countries. Our goal is to make it possible
for these people to acquire knowledge of the country and cultures we work in, enabling them see the realities of these
children that are part of this system. The support that a sponsor gives is sent directly to our organization in Guatemala,
guaranteeing the well-being of their sponsored child (who is chosen by their sponsors by means of a photo).
A sponsorship will cover registration and tuition costs, school supplies, books, uniform and other expenses for special school
activities during the school year. Your generous contribution will help to improve the life of a child in Guatemala.
